Inaugurado Memorial da Oktoberfest

No findar da tarde de 29 de setembro de 2018, antecedendo a abertura da 40ª edição da Oktoberfest, aconteceu a inauguração do Memorial da Oktoberfest em La. Presidente Becker. Uma das coordenadoras da festa e também colaboradora na produção do memorial, Afonsina Scholz, destacou da importância de manter viva e de forma organizada todo acervo dessas quatro décadas de festa da cultura. Já o prefeito de Itapiranga Jorge Welter, enfatizou que o grande esforço foi de quem começou a festa há 40 anos, e principalmente a comunidade berço que manteve e prosperou sempre com a festa, vista que é desse exemplo, que ano após ano, se busca a essência para cultivar não só a festa em si, mas acima de tudo a tradição que nela está inserida. O memorial foi feito no prédio da escola desativada.
