Auditório da Câmara sedia Conferência Intermunicipal de Assistência Social

O auditório da Câmara de Vereadores de Itapiranga foi disponibilizado ao Conselho Municipal de Assistência Social (COMASI) e à secretaria municipal de Assistência Social de Itapiranga, visando a promoção da Conferência Intermunicipal de Assistência Social. A conferência, realizada em conjunto com o município de São João do Oeste, transcorreu nesta quarta-feira (07), tendo como tema: “Assistência Social: Direito do povo, com financiamento público e participação social”.

O presidente da Câmara, Afonso Niehues, na abertura do evento, destacou a importância da conferência para ampliar o planejamento das políticas de assistência social, para que os usuários tenham seus direitos assegurados. Niehues lembrou ainda, que no intuito de colaborar com as demandas sociais registradas no município, os vereadores aprovaram em plenário, os projetos enviados à Casa Legislativa pelo Executivo, autorizando a abertura de mais uma vaga para assistente social e psicólogo.
